The assault caused the partial shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

Two more people are now in custody in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, the force said.

The arrests come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was one of the injured in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later discharged.

Police detained a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault near the location. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Police were called at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals hurt by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
